Privacy policy

This policy explains what the TFOE-PE app ("the app") collects, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have. The app is run for The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles, Inc. (TFOE-PE). We follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
What we collect
- Account details: your mobile number, or your name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Membership details: your name, photo, birthday if you add it, club, region, role, officer position, AGILA ID number and membership dates, as entered by you or your club admin.
- What you share: posts, comments, reactions, chat messages, photos, videos and files you upload, events you RSVP to and businesses you list.
- Payments: pledges, contributions, receipt images you upload, and for online payments the amount, method, status and payment reference numbers. Card and e-wallet details are entered with the payment provider and are never stored by the app. Club admins also enter the bank or e-wallet account their club receives payouts in.
- Location: only when you use the business map, to move the map to where you are. The location of a business you list is saved with that listing. Your own location is not stored.
- Device details: a push notification token so we can send you notifications.
Why we use it
To run your account and membership, let your club see and verify members, deliver posts, messages and notifications, record pledges and payments for your club, keep the app safe, and handle reports. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Who can see it
Members of your club see your name, photo, position and what you post in the club. Club admins see membership and payment records for their club. Media you upload is visible to the people its folder allows; your private folder is visible only to you. Club fund totals are visible only to those your club allows.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase (accounts, database, notifications, hosted in Singapore), DigitalOcean (file storage, Singapore), PayMongo through the IdeaLaunch payment gateway (online payments) and Google Maps (business map). They process data only to provide these services.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. Payment and audit records are kept as long as your club needs them for its accounts. When you delete your account, your profile, memberships and sign-in are removed, and your posts show "Former member" instead of your name. Payment records your club needs for its accounts are kept.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile in the app, and delete your account from More, then Delete my account. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data by writing to billyranario@gmail.com. See Delete your account.
Children
The app is for members of the fraternity and is not meant for children.
Changes
We will update this page when the app changes how it uses data, and show the date at the top.
